Insight To Wellbeing

An Evidence-Based, Human Approach to Wellbeing

Discover the Power of the Insight to Wellbeing Program

Watch this short video featuring Anna Debenham and our partner organization to learn more about the Insight to Wellbeing program and the heart behind this work.

Program Overview

Insight to Wellbeing is a 10-session programme designed to help people better understand themselves, their experience, and the role state of mind plays in their lives. Groups of 10-20 people meet in a safe and supportive environment where participants can reflect, connect, and learn from one another.

Through a series of conversations, activities, and real-life examples, participants explore how thoughts, feelings, and perceptions shape the way they experience themselves, others, and the world around them.

As they begin to recognise this for themselves, many discover they are far less limited by their circumstances than they once believed. New possibilities emerge, relationships improve, and challenges that once felt overwhelming often become easier to navigate.

The programme is practical, accessible, and grounded in everyday life. Creating the conditions for fresh insight and understanding.

When people feel more settled and clear, they tend to make better decisions - in the moment and over time. We see this reflected in reduced reoffending, and in more positive engagement with education, work, and relationships.

“For years I thought there was something wrong with me.

I spent so much time caught up in my head and trying to fix myself. This course helped me see that maybe I'm not broken after all.

Things still happen. I still have bad days. But I don't get stuck in them like I used to. I know now that underneath all the noise, I'm okay. That has changed a lot for me.”

- BT

“The biggest thing I learned was that I don't have to listen to every thought that comes into my head.

That sounds simple, but it made a huge difference. I used to react to everything I was thinking and feeling.

Now I can let things settle down before I act. I feel calmer, I get on better with people, and life doesn't feel as heavy as it used to.”

- ER

These shifts have real-world impact.

Our approach is supported by evidence-based research, including independent evaluation of the Insight to Wellbeing programme, which has shown significant improvements in wellbeing, emotional regulation, and behaviour. These sustainable changes come from a deeper understanding that people begin to see for themselves

“I came into the class carrying a lot of stuff from my past. But I’m realising that my past isn't who I am.

There is more to me than the mistakes I've made or the things that have happened to me. For the first time in a long time, I feel hopeful about my future.”

- JR-H

“This programme helped me see people differently. I used to think everyone was against me.

Now I can see that everybody is dealing with their own shit. I've become less angry, more patient, and my relationships with family and other people are better because of it. I feel more connected to life and to the people around me.”
